Our client is currently looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join the Accounts team and help support the finance function.

We are a rapidly growing digital marketing agency based in Cheltenham with a work force of 40. We have global clients in many verticals and have a huge requirement to grow our accounts division.
· Paying contractors and freelances
· Posting purchase ledger invoices onto Accounting software.
· Posting sales ledger receipts
· Sales ledger cash analysis
· Posting journals onto Xero
· Preparing VAT reports
· Preparing finance data for management reports
· The role may include any other adhoc duties given to you by the head of Finance.
· Ensuring records are accurate and updated.
· Good relationships are vital to our business and you will be expected to liaise with internal staff in a friendly and professional manner both verbally and via e-mail.
· Experience of working in accounts and finance team
· Good team working and communication skills
· Good time management and organisation skills
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent attention to detail and the ability to understand how the detail fits into the wider picture
· Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word; experience of Sage, QuickBooks and Xero would be useful
