Our Values

Working at HR Star

The team at HR Star are like no other. We call ourselves ‘the dream team’ because as cliché as it sounds, we really do go above and beyond for our clients. No two days are the same and we all work extremely hard because we’re passionate about employee engagement, the service we provide, and supporting each other.

Being a small business brings the beauty of the ‘family feel’. Sometimes its intense, sometimes emotions run high, but for the majority, there is love, care, and fun in all that we do, together, as a team. Our roles are challenging, our work is engaging, our ideas are innovative, our approach is collaborative, and our attitude is driven. The autonomy in each of our roles means job satisfaction is high, and the opportunities to learn are abundant.

Despite our size, we are keen to practice what we preach and reward our team for their dedication and hard work. We offer Healthcare schemes, an allowance towards Wellbeing activities, enhanced Maternity Pay, enhanced Company Sick Pay, referral incentives, and Performance Related Bonuses. The phrase ‘work hard, play hard’ comes to mind, and we use our ‘team day Friday’s’ to celebrate our successes and come together as a team, over a croissant or two…

HR Star is certainly not for the faint-hearted – and that’s why we’re so proud of it. We do HR differently, and the success of the business shows that reinventing the focus of HR is what’s needed in today’s climate. We are constantly growing, so opportunities to join our team are always on the horizon.

Caz Bird
