Our client has been developing, designing and manufacturing Christmas lighting products since 1973, with Headquarters in France and divisions spanning Europe, USA, Canada and further afield.

Whether master planning a complete visitor attraction for a Theme Park, decking the malls of Shopping Centres, helping Council’s win BID awards or creating art installations, they have worked their magic on hundreds of sites.

Key Responsibilities

Now seeking an energetic, engaging and disciplined field sales professional to take this territory to new heights. Solely focussed on new business, this role is a great mix requiring professional field sales experience and a flair for design.

This is the ideal position for somebody that loves growing new accounts from scratch and enjoys the challenge of sourcing for them!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Win & retain profitable new business
  • Attend new business and prospective client meetings, offering expert advice and guidance on products and bring client schemes to life
  • Attend initial site survey to provide information and feasibility to the client
  • Attend and present at client pitches, working alongside the Project Manager and Design team as required.
  • Manage the new business sales process from initial enquiry through to order
  • Identify and execute upselling opportunities with current clients
  • Attend monthly Sales meetings, providing monthly reports on Sales as requested

Key Attributes:

  • Proven new business sales experience gained within a sales management role
  • Demonstrable experience of exceeding targets
  • Experience of the end-to-end sales process
  • Ability to adapt behaviour in order to build effective and trusting relationships internally and externally.
  • Ambitious and driven to ensure targets are met
  • Focussed and self-motivated, allowing for own personal growth and discipline required to work remotely
  • Excellent attention to detail and time keeping
  • Ability to take responsibility and handle pressure
  • Strong presentation and communication skills are key to translate concepts and bring ideas to life
  • A customer-oriented approach aiming to exceed expectations
