HR Star are proud to recruit for an exciting opportunity for the position of Welder in this small company due to sustained growth from their varied customer base.

Our client specialise in the design, build and installation of bespoke high temperature ceramic filter systems. They have a worldwide customer base which spans many different industry sectors including product recovery, waste to energy, biomass, gasification, metal recovery.

Key Responsibilities

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking to start a prosperous career in the engineering industry or develop their skills further.

Main responsibilities:

  • Carrying out all aspects of Welding and Fabrication processes in a Production/Engineering environment
  • Creating works according to engineering drawings
  • To ensure that all equipment is maintained and repaired to meet the requirements of the customers
  • To ensure that all breakdowns or non-scheduled work is undertaken in a timely, cost-effective manner
  • Ensure that you are working in a safe manner, adhering to our safe systems of work

The ideal person:

  • No experience is necessary but experience in a busy workshop setting or having an engineering/fabricating interest would be a bonus
  • Must have a very good eye for close up detail
  • Be keen and willing to learn
  • Positive attitude and a team player
