Kelly Tucker

Founder & Managing Director

Kelly is the founder of HR Star and has over 15 years’ experience in the HR world having worked for leading local companies including Renishaw, Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust and Lloyds TSB (formally C&G). Kelly is a proactive HR professional and firmly believes that HR should be fun, engaging and provide a healthy environment for all to flourish.

Through her extensive experience in Senior HR positions Kelly identified that companies needed more than just HR in a traditional sense. Kelly recognised that businesses could increase productivity and reduce staff challenges by embracing employee engagement as a key element of their company culture.

Holly Prosser

HR Advisor

Holly started her career in HR and Recruitment 3 years ago and studied her Level 5 CIPD in 2019 before joining the HR Star team.   Holly believes businesses function at their highest ability with an active HR team at their core who can listen to their employees, act on their feedback and create a happy workforce for all.

Holly started her career in HR and Recruitment 3 years ago and studied her Level 5 CIPD in 2019 before joining the HR Star team.   Holly believes businesses function at their highest ability with an active HR team at their core who can listen to their employees, act on their feedback and create a happy workforce for all.

Caz Bird

HR & Recruitment Administrator

Caz joined the team in 2020 having had previous roles in project management and resource planning. It was whilst she was on maternity leave that she revaluated what she loved about work and found it to be the people she connects with and supports. After completing her CIPD level 5 in the summer of 2020, she wanted to pursue a role that was solely HR focused and join a company that shared her passion for people. Caz believes that people are an organisations greatest asset and when they are happy and engaged in their role awesome things can happen.

Caz joined the team in 2020 having had previous roles in project management and resource planning. Amy has over 10 year’s administration experience covering HR, recruitment, personal admin and operations. Since 2019, Amy has been a fundamental part of the successful running of HR Star by supporting all areas of the business by managing diaries, assisting on research and business planning, liaising with clients, organising team days, and lots more! Amy is a great advocate for HR Star and believes the team’s passion and efficiency combined with forward thinking leaders is a winning partnership for any organisation.

Marita Nanson-Cook

Learning and Development Specialist

Marita is our Learning and Development specialist. She believes that having good conversations is the way for business and people to achieve their goals. With over 15 years in the travel, property, charity and higher education sectors, Marita loves to understand what a business needs and can train and coach your managers and teams to deliver. She is also a qualified Mental Health First Aid instructor and DiSC facilitator so will support wellbeing, leadership and teamwork in a credible and trusted way.
